Victor Gogoana, Founder and CEO
Rear Admiral James B. Whittaker brings a diverse background that includes running a billion dollar government agency with over 50,000 civilian employees and running a $20 million dollar private software company. He has consulted with some of the major organizations of the federal government, including the GAO, OMB and the Fed. He has been the accountable Program Manager for more than $4 billion dollars of projects which included reporting progress to the U.S. Congress. He had oversight responsibility for one of the first and most advanced automated warehouse systems in the U.S. during the 1980’s.

He has written seven books on strategy and management, taught at a number of institutions including Georgetown University and attended The University of Kansas, The University of Michigan for an MBA (with distinction) and a PhD.
Radu Gogoana is a recent MIT graduate (B.S. and M.S. in mechanical engineering), specializing in thermal analysis, algorithm design and data processing. His work at Yshape focuses on thermal modeling of heating systems and building insulation.

Victor Gogoana has over two decades of experience in industrial automation and HVAC system controls. Prior to founding and running a highly automated manufacturing business in Virginia and New Hampshire from 1998 to 2010, he graduated from the Polytechnical University of Bucharest (Romania) in electrical engineering. He holds 3 patents in the U.S.
